Prof. Freitas-Magalhães em Destaque na Encyclopedia of Human Behavior, Oxford




A Encyclopedia of Human Behavior, da reputadíssima editora Elsevier, em Oxford, vai pubicar o artigo "Emotional Expression of Emotion" do Prof. Doutor Freitas-Magalhães. Aquele artigo científico, integralmente em língua inglesa, aborda as temáticas: "Emotion: A Complex and Multidimensional Phenomenon", "From de Brain to The Face: An Emotional Journey", "Facial Expression: From Universality to Cultural Influences", "Facial Expression: Its Contribution to The Study of The Emotions", "Emotion Manifested on THe Face: Some Theories Compared", "Macroexpression and Microexpression", "Neuromuscular Structure and Facial Expression", "The Face: Moderating Variables", "Truth and Falsehood in Facial Expression" e "Psychosocial Implications and Applications".
De recordar que o Director do Laboratório de Expressão Facial da Emoção (FEELab/UFP), da Faculdade de Ciências da Saúde (FCS), da Universidade Fernando Pessoa (UFP), Prof. Doutor Freitas-Magalhães, foi convidado pelos Professores Vilayanur S. Ramachandran, Director do Center for Brain and Cognition e docente na University of California e no Salt Institute e David M. Buss, docente da University of Texas, para a Encyclopedia of Human Behavior porque, segundo a nota oficial do convite, "as the most appopriated person to write on the subject of Personality/Facial Expression of Emotion".
A Encyclopedia of Human Behavior será editada pela prestigiada Elsevier.
O Prof. Doutor Freitas-Magalhães tem sido distinguido por diversas instituições internacionais pelo "pioneirismo e inovação" seu trabalho científico e académico.
